The 2000 Series Artisan(R) 26-in wide 5-drawer thorax combines solid mental synthesis with a newly designed 12-deep to offer a solution for those who are looking for for warehousing with a smaller footprint. This chest is built to high, with an 18-20 gauge double-wall expression that strengthens the design. Recessed metal side handles on the chest make information technology easy to lift storage into place. The squishy-close bloomers softly pull themselves unreceptive and will not dig shut. This helps keep your tools in place and ensures your knickers stay stoppered. For each one industrial draftsman features a booming reference design, can support upwards to 75 lb of tools and glides smoothly on ball-bearing slides. Overall I am very happy with it, peculiarly for the price I paid. The soft close orchis carriage knickers are very dainty. I would recommend lubricating them to produce them even smoother. The space under the eyelid is a great station for storing batteries for my office tools. The gas struts unconstricted and close the lid very smoothly. There was a junior issue with mine. When I imminent the top lid, the left side does not sit doesn't completely flush unless you engage the lock. IT's only a fraction disconnected, so it's non terrible, but it's strong. Also, the Craftsman logotype sticker that goes happening the underside of the lid is red and not black as shown connected the picture. I would let preferred if IT were black only, again, not a huge problem. The only things I wish were diametrical most this chest would be for IT to be 18 inches unsounded so it would blanket the full hindquarters cabinet IT is designed to go off connected top of. I imagine that's IT's simply 12 inches recondite due to weight mental ability and tipping hazards. Also, this chest does not let in any drawer liners. I had to buy a flap of drawer liner one by one and cut it to equip the drawers. Not a huge deal, simply if I had paid full price I would have been disappointed with that.

Rated 5 come out of 5 by ToeKnee from Perfect for my cart box I bought this box to supervene upon the 1000 serial publication loge of similar dimensions. The deeper soft close drawers carry my tools and stay unopen while I'm pushing it on my cart. The thicker material promises to hold adequate even more on the job abuse than the last combined. But at this price, I can afford to replace it. My co-workers were so impressed with it that cardinal of the guys went out and bought themselves the same box that same weekend.

Only issue I found is with the gas spring on the box lid is if you only open information technology enough to get something impossible quickly information technology's hard to close referable gas leap out non in full extending.

Returned first one as lid door latch welded on in unsuitable location stopping lid from year-end. Second cabinet has sticking drawer nigher that jambs drawer when opening. May need to exchange it equally well. Rona has been superior returning and exchanging items.
